data manipulation

I have three columns. Column A is a first name and always has a name in it. Column B is also a first name, but is sometimes blank. Column C is a last name.

If column B is not blank, and " & " to the end of all cells in column A. If column B is blank, do nothing.

Add 1 space to the beginning of each cell in column C, but keeping the data intact otherwise.

Once this is done, take Column A, Column B and Column C and place in column D.

Thank you! I'm brand new to Excel and have three references books in front of me, trying to bully my way through this so I appreciate any help!

oops - sorry.

Paragraph 2 should read

If column B is not blank, add "&" to the end of all cells in column A, leaving all other data in column A otherwise intact. If column B is blank, do nothing.
