Data valadation in Excel 2003

I have a workbook, it has one drop down list thats repeated alot, the size of the work book has now hit 700kb and is clunky to save.

The data list has 3 options, is there another way of doing this?

----The user chooses one of 3 options from the drop down list they are word fields.

I welcome ideas to change this process to make the workbook smaller?

Try using an input message instead of dropdown, showing the list options. Autocomplete should kick in after the first few cells are entered. Might save a few bytes.
