I am trying to use a data validation formula on a list (column G) to filter selected values if another column value = "Y" (column N).

I have tried the below, but it doesn't seem to work:

='Mysheet TB'!$G$8:INDEX('Mysheet TB'!$G$8:$G$240,SUMPRODUCT(--('Mysheet TB'!$N$8:$N$240="Y")))

any help with this? many thanks!

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Put that formula in a defined name, like MyList, and then use =MyList in the Data Validation.
