Data validation list

Is it possible in data validation to have a list from other sheet? Example:my list is in Sheet of the same workbook.

If your sheet name contain space or only numbers, you need to add a single quotation in both at in front of it and the end of it

e.g
'Sheet 1'!A1:A100
'12345'!A1:A100

First go to the sheet where your data is.
Select the data you want to use.

2003:
On menubar: Insert - Name - Define ...
type in a name for your range ex MyData.
OK

Goto the sheet where you want you data validation.
As source type: =MyData
