I'm creating a spreadsheet to collate responses from colleagues. I'm using a drop down list for the responses, but want to add an input message when the cell is selected. I've created one working row (with the dropdown list and input message) which looks fine.

However, when I've copied and pasted the row (I need over 100 identical rows) I've discovered that the input message remains where it did for the first row. Not an issue for the first few rows, but by the time I've scrolled down the message is off the screen!

Is there a way of locking the message relative to the cell it's supposed to appear with? Alternatively, is there a different way of copying each row to allow this to move with the input?

Any help appreciated!
