I have created a data validation list with a pull down menu. I would like the pull down menu (arrow button) to permanently display on the screen so users completing forms will know to select a choice in that field. Is there a way to do this?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Sure,
1. make your list (note the cells range or name the range is easier
2. select the range cells that the button is to be used and then choose tab data and then validate, settings list, select the list range and OK.

Try it

You could use a combo box where the drop arrow is always visible.

However, a combo box works differently than a data validation list works.

What version of Excel are you using?

A data validation arrow is only visible when the cell is activated.
I'd recommend you look at Biffs suggestion to make them permanently viewable, but it could get a bit ugly if you have a lot of them
You could also consider adding a comment or a colour to the cell to identify it as a cell that has a list attached.
