Hi all,

Hoping someone can please help with this data validation issue.

I have excel saved to a sharepoint folder and shared with other uses.

I limited the data validaiton to 250. First week of using, I had columns with more than 250 characters. I tested it out and you can copy and paste directly into the cell more than 250 but if you paste it in the formula bar area, it warns you.

is there anyway of fixing this?

Thanks

Can you give us a sample of your data?

Excel is not really the right application to store such large amounts of data but you are where you are and you need a solution
but we need more information from you.
