Date Calculation

I have 2 dates (in separate cells) and formatted as mm/dd/yyyy.
I can subtract the 2 to determine the variance in number of days, but how would I determine 'number of years' that factors leap years?
Not sure what the formula should be?
Your assistance is much appreciated.
