Date Format Issue

Have received dates as listed below, under xls 2000 don't see a way to change, Want to change to 07-09-10

If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Do you just want to change how they are displayed on your sheet?

As long as the dates are entered as dates and not text, all you have to do is highlight the column, bring up the Cell Formatting, go to Custom and enter a custom format of mm-dd-yy.
