Date Format problem

I have a userform which posts a date to a column on sheet 1. In the userform the date is of the format "dd/mm/yyyy" but on my sheet it is showing as "mm/dd/yyyy" despite the format of the column being set to "dd/mm/yyyy".

It was working fine at the end of March when the day value was higher than a possible month value, but now for some reason it seems to be converting a value in the textbox from 08/04/2011 to 04/08/2011

Any idea why this would be?
