Date Format

Hello,

I have dates that are made up of the following format:

11210 (1st Dec 2010)
20211 (2nd Feb 2011)
30211 (30th Feb 2011)
250211 (25th Feb 2011)

is there a way I can quickly convert this value as a normal date from which I then sort in date order?

not as easy as that. Formatting 11210 as a date gives 09/09/1930 not 01/12/2010 as expected

=DATE(RIGHT(A1,2)+2000,MID(A1,LEN(A1)-3,2),LEFT(A1,LEN(A1)-4))
