Hi,

I have a userform to enter a date that will be the start date of of a protected sheet, the problem that I have is that when I enter the date in the user form (dd/mm/yy) it changes to (mm/dd/yy) when copied to the sheet.

How can I get it to keep to the same date format as it was entered?

Regards

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I am not sure where to put the code you supplied can you tell me where to put it?

Code:
Private Sub Confirm_Click()
 On Error Resume Next

If Not (Me.DateSel.Text Like "##/##/##") Then
 Cancel = True
 MsgBox "Invalid date entered, start date has not been changed", vbOKOnly, "Invalid Date"

 Exit Sub
 End If

Sheets("Holidays").Range("D18") = Me.DateSel.Text
Unload Me
End Sub
