Date help

Id like to add one year to a date. Im aware that its not as simple as that sometimes as we have leap years etc...

I have used the edate feature but im not sure this is on the MAC 2011 edition to whom im sending the data to.

Any ideas or websites id appreciate.

Try with a date in A1

=DATE(YEAR(A1)+1,MONTH(A1),DAY(A1))

VOG you gem, will this account for change in months in respect to leap years etc...?

Yes it will. You can even use a formula like

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+13,DAY(A1))

to add 13 months.
