Date in words

Hi,
I need formula for date in words example we apply today() formula it ll come 02/06/2011. Like tat there is any formula its show 2nd june 2011. Pls help. Thanks in advance.

Try:

=TEXT(TODAY(),"DD MMMM YYYY")

you can use Crtl+1 and from Date choose your format

If you want to include "nd" or the equivalent for other days try this formula

=DAY(TODAY())&LOOKUP(DAY(TODAY()),{1,2,3,4,21,22,23,24,31;"st","nd","rd","th","st","nd","rd","th","st"})&TEXT(TODAY()," mmmm yyyy")
