date of changes

Hi. I wonder if you can help. We have a member of staff who has recently left us. We have subsequently found out that he has altered an Excel sheet and changed figures. In fact he has copied one sheet within a workbook and we would love to know what date this happened. I know it's a shot in the dark but can anyone answer this? Thank you guys

Not sure how big your company is but you can asked your IT guys if they have any backup of data.
Usually backup shoudl be done everyday so there is a chance to find what you are looking for.
