Hi all,

I have a column C called Timeline, where I want either of the two:

Either a date OR
A list of values.

What am I trying to do? E.g. define tasks that need to be done, and the timeline. If the timeline has not been agreed, then there are values such as

- pending
- ASAP!
- conflict

So, in effect, the possible values could be only among:

- date
- pending
- ASAP!
- conflict

Is it possible to do this?

Thanks for any help.

Kind regards,
Ben

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hello!

The date (related to another thread) can be either fed manually in a certain format OR even with a drop-down list, if possible. Other values will be selected from a list.

Does that answer the question?

Kind regards.
