Hi everyone, I have a problem with my spreadsheets where a column containing dates and times is inconsistent.
Some rows contain the format I want:
31/1/2011 10:00
and it shows the same thing in the cell and the formula bar.
But other rows contain this format:
31/1/2011 10:00:00 AM
in the formula bar even though the cell shows the former.
I've tried selecting the former and using the format painter to "paint" the latter, and I've also tried Format>Cells>Custom>"m/d/yyyy h:mm" but neither method works. I've even tried manually deleting the trailing ":00 AM" in the formual bar but it automatically comes back.
How do I get the data in the cells to be consistent? Thanks!
