Hi Genius,

When I open my files after saving it will get changed automatically. Suppose I changed all the number format into dates and save the file but when I reopen those date see as number. Please can you advise how do I stop it so that every time my dates column will be seen as dates instead number.

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
What version of Excel are you using?
What is the format and extension of the file you are saving?
