Hi, I just created a simple chart line with 2 data points,
In column A I have dates in no particular order, and in Column B I have a numeric value.
When I make a chart out of it, the dates displayed are not the dates I have in my data list.
In the chart it always shows the first day of each month.
How can I make my dates display correctly in the chart?

Thanks

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
If you plot it as a scatter x-y chart you should get real dates (like 20th January) - if you plot it as any other type you seem to get the first of the month for some reason. Generally you need to fiddle about with the scale though.
