Hi folks, hoping someone can help here.

I did read and find previous threads about this topic, but the solutions did not work and this just makes no sense.

I am using a date field as the 'Report Filter' for my pivot table report. All the dates do not appear in order - here is what I have for the full month of April, for example:
4/5/11
4/11/11
4/22/11
4/1/11

This is very annoying when someone needs to pick a single date and they have to spend 10 seconds finding the date.

I have tried to ensure that any dates that are text are converted to numerical dates instead and this does not help the issue. Also, I am not able to locate the Advanced Options for this field to ensure that it's sorted in ascending order.

The strange thing is that when I add an additional "Report Filter" for MONTH, the dates are sorted just fine. For example, I have a Year-to-Date version of the report, so that users can select different months to look at. And, all dates appear fine in that instance...I am very confused how this is happening or why..

Any help?
