Hi,

Code:
DCount("[FieldName]", "[QueryName]", ("[FieldName] in ('[B][TableName]![FieldName][/B]')"))

I am trying to use the IN operator to look in a table column for matches. I dont want to hard code these since I want the users to be able to edit the table to update the database.

I tried searching for the answer with no luck. Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
You would need a sub query for that and I don't think tha's possible in the criteria for DCount.

Have you tried doing the count with a query?

I think you may be right. I wanted to keep this as clean as possible but it looks like I will need to do the count with a query and then reference that result.
