Trying to copy and paste the values, which are formatted like so Var_Fin_LH, into another range where I will then attribute values to them. There is close to 350 names that need to be copied and pasted so a one by one method will simply take way too long. Thanks in advance

Dennis,

You can use Formulas > Defined Names > Create from Selection
to assign names to cells based on the values in adjacent cells.

For example, if your formatted values are in the range A1:A350...
1. Select range A1:B350 then
2. Formulas > Defined Names > Create from Selection (or Press Ctrl+Shift+F)
3. Check "Left Column" > OK

Each Cell in the range B1:B350 will now be named with the corresponding values
that are in A1:A350.
