Whenever I save to a text file and place quotation marks in the sheet that is saved the quotation marks triple in size. Here is my macro:
Code:
Sub SaveTxt()
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Worksheets("Sheet1").Copy
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs FileName:="C:\Documents and Settings\Nicole\Desktop\Excel\Example.txt", _
        FileFormat:=xlText, CreateBackup:=False
ActiveWindow.Close
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
End Sub

example:
Lets say in sheet 1 in cell a1 I have the word "Hello"
when the macro is executed the result in the text file is """Hello"""
Why? and how can I adjust my macro to get rid of these extra quotation marks.

Thanks!

Nicole
