Trying to delete the "99" from the following list of numbers. They were added to separate a population of numbers. Is there a short cut. I found a long way - text to columns > delete colmns > concatenate.

Thanks for you help

991
9913
99100
993242

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Will 99 always be the first number, if 99 occurs?

If so, try:

<b>Excel 2003</b><table cellpadding="2.5px" rules="all" style=";background-color: #FFFFFF;border: 1px solid;border-collapse: collapse; border-color: #A6AAB6"><colgroup><col width="25px" style="background-color: #E0E0F0" /><col /><col /></colgroup><thead><tr style=" background-color: #E0E0F0;text-align: center;color: #161120"><th></th><th>A</th><th>B</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr ><td style="color: #161120;text-align: center;">1</td><td style="text-align: right;;">991</td><td style="text-align: right;;">1</td></tr><tr ><td style="color: #161120;text-align: center;">2</td><td style="text-align: right;;">9913</td><td style="text-align: right;;">13</td></tr><tr ><td style="color: #161120;text-align: center;">3</td><td style="text-align: right;;">99100</td><td style="text-align: right;;">100</td></tr><tr ><td style="color: #161120;text-align: center;">4</td><td style="text-align: right;;">993242</td><td style="text-align: right;;">3242</td></tr></tbody></table><table cellpadding="2.5px" rules="all" style=";background-color: #FFFFFF;border: 1px solid;border-collapse: collapse; border-color: #A6AAB6"><thead><tr style="background-color: #E0E0F0;text-align: center;color: #161120"><th><b>Sheet1</b></th></tr></td></thead></table><br /><br /><table width="85%" cellpadding="2.5px" rules="all" style=";border: 2px solid black;border-collapse:collapse;padding: 0.4em;background-color: #FFFFFF" ><tr><td style="padding:6px" ><b>Worksheet Formulas</b><table cellpadding="2.5px" width="100%" rules="all" style="border: 1px solid;text-align:center;background-color: #FFFFFF;border-collapse: collapse; border-color: #A6AAB6"><thead><tr style=" background-color: #E0E0F0;color: #161120"><th width="10px">Cell</th><th style="text-align:left;padding-left:5px;">Formula</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><th width="10px" style=" background-color: #E0E0F0;color: #161120">B1</th><td style="text-align:left">=IF(<font color="Blue">LEFT(<font color="Red">A1,2</font>)="99",VALUE(<font color="Red">RIGHT(<font color="Green">A1,LEN(<font color="Purple">A1</font>)-2</font>)</font>),A1</font>)</td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></table><br />
