Delete sheets with specific sheetName

what i have right now:

Dim sht As Worksheet
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
    With ActiveWorkbook
    For Each sht In Sheets
      If Left(sht.Name, 3) = "Gre" Then sht.Delete 'edited
    Next sht
    End With
Application.DisplayAlerts = True

gives error because once it deletes one found sheet there are that many less sheets to go through

seems like deleting values in a column

this usually done by deleting from the bottom up, not from the top down

for each ... next always goes from the top down

in your case, suggest you use the code to count the number of sheets and delete backwards
