I need to process a sheet with about 38000 rows. Many rows have an invalid formula like #NAME

I need to bypass that row and go on to the next one. I have tried code like

if first character = "#" or "=" but it returns a "mismatch" error

How do I check "Does this cell have a formula"?

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
In VBA there is a HasFormula property that returns True if the cell contains a formula and False if it does not.

For example:
Code:
If Range("A1").HasFormula = True Then...
