Dget Formula in VBA Mode

Hello imTrying to use the dget formula in a vba sub

my data base contains the folowing exemple

name type discription
28 days horror $#%#@

this is what i have so far but it dont work

sub get movie
name = inputbox ("enter movie name")
sheet("movielist").activate
moviedata = application.worsheetfonction. _
dget(movielist,petelist!b3,name)
msgbox moviedata
end sub

been trying to figure it out for a will now :oops: if you can help it would be very apreciated.. :biggrin:

How does it not work?

Is it causing errors or not returning the expected result?

Its giving me an Error
runtime eror 424
i have tried all kind of format with the formula cant get to work at all the best ive ever got was msgbox that said FALS

Originaly i has using the vlookup formula that works but i dont like it it was not giving me all the info i whanted.
i want to be able to ask it to show me with a msgbox any info in my data base

this formula is working but i would like to do somme thing like this but with a difrent anwser from a the colom B in my list.

Name = InputBox("enter movie name")
' exit if cancel
If Name = "" Then Exit Sub
Sheets("list").Activate
moviedata = Application.WorksheetFunction. _
VLookup(Name, Range("movielist"), 2, False)
msg = " YES ### HAS " & vbCrLf
msg = msg & Name & vbCrLf
MsgBox msg & " IN HIS LIST"

Hello Every Body could any one pleae help
im not sure if im typing the formula right or what im doing rong i know the dget formula by heart i use it all the time but for somme reason i cant use it in VBA.
