1. When I run the following code, B2 cell in the worksheet is selected
Sub testing1()
Range("a2:b10").Cells(, 2).Select (or) Range("a2:b10").Cells(1, 2).Select
End Sub

2. but when I run the following code, B1 cell in the worksheet is selected
Sub testing2()
Range("a2:b10").Cells(0, 2).Select
End Sub

My question is how cells(,2) differs from cells(0,2)

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
The row/column index defaults to 1 if not specified, not 0.
