difference between times

How do you calculate the difference between two 40 yard dash times?

Athlete A: 5.18 (seconds)
Athlete B: 4.58 (seconds)

How do I calculate this so the difference is -.2 (seconds), instead of what I've been getting -.60

But isn't the answer -0.60 because the .18 and .58 are decimal fractions?
