Differences or problems between 2007 and 2010?

This may be opening a big can of worms, but here goes...

I have been asked to coordinate part of our company's jump from MS Office 2007 to 2010. Our IT team is going to do the heavy work on our primary systems and mainframes, making sure everything jibes with 2010, but the portion I'm going to be responsible for is our User-Developed Applications, which includes making sure that the macros that people have installed on their machines are still going to work after we make the switch next year. We're still in the preliminary fact-gathering stage right now, but in a few months we'll be starting to test the UDA's that have been identified as having code that could fall in the "it worked before but doesn't now" category...

My question for you all is this: have you found any code or sequencing that just didn't work, when you moved to the 2010 product, or do things translate pretty well from one to the other?

This would be for Excel specifically since I'm on the Excel board, but I'd love to hear anything about Word or PowerPoint code issues as well...

Thanks for any input

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Thanks, 63falcondude - I had seen that post as well, and it was very informative on the new features in the new platform. What I'm looking for, however, is if anyone has had code break - code that worked in 2007 fine just didn't work anymore or needed 'tweaking' to be able to function the same way in 2010. That's what my job is going to be: making sure that when we flip the switch next year, our users will still be able to do the same things they could do before...

Thanks for your continued excellent input!

Update! Since I started this thread, I have discovered that I was incorrect...we are not moving from Office 2007 to Office 2010. We are in fact moving from Office 2007 to Windows 10/Office 365, which will have the 2016 Office Suite (except for InfoPath but that's a whole other story...).

So...my original question remains but with a revision/twist: has anyone had any VBA coding problems when moving from the 2007 to 2016 platforms?

Thanks to all who might have some input!
