I have a simple spreadsheet that has a date on the X-axis and a value range on the Y-axis. For each date, a value is assigned (e.g.: for 01/09/02 a value of 100, for 12/09/02 a value of 35.) These values come from cells A2-A32 (for the X-axis) and B2-B32 for the values on the Y-axis.

The default bar chart I'm using has a colour scheme of blue.

What I would like to do is have a certain range of dates in blue, then others in red or alternative colour. For example, I'd like 16/09/02 through 30/09/02 in red, not blue.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance...

I think you could do this if you plot 2 ranges. Leave your x axis as it is. In column C enter a formula referencing column B for the first range of dates. Make the other cells #N/A. Do the same for column D, but reference the second set of dates, making the other cells #N/A. Then plot columns C and D instead of B.
