disabling update links and enable macro popup box

hi,

is it possible to disable the "update links" pop-up box....i don't want users fiddling with it...

so i need a macro that disables the popup box but updates the links

also, is there any way to force the user to enable macros without the popup box coming up?

any suggestions??

In Excel 2007/2010, use the Edit Links itemin the Data ribbon (Connections group) to adjust the [Startup Prompt]. From Memory there's similar in earlier versions, but I don't recall where... No macro needed.
