Can anyone please tell me how to make a pivot table not a pivot table anymore?

I format most of my data as a pivot table. That's good. Then I need to add additional formating in order to put it in a report. But the pivot formatting won't let me make the changes.

I can make them in a normal Excel table but I can't do the initial data sorting with Excel so that's why I have to start off with a pivot table.

Thanks very much to any kind sole who can help a newbee.

Bye for now
Edi

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Welcome to MrExcel Board...

you would have to copy the pivot table then do a paste/special values to make it not be a pivot table
