I want to have a the contents of a cell displayed on a chart that I have created. This cell will be changing with new data that is entered. So a simple text box will not work. I'm sure that this is quite simple however, I can't figure it out.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi slaidlaw

To display the value of cell A1 of worksheet Sheet1 in a textbox on a chart:

- Select the chart.

- In the formula bar write =Sheet1!$A$1 and hit enter

You'll see on the chart a text box linked to the cell.

Hope this is what you want
