Display part of the cell content (same cell)

Hi gurus,

Can you please help me? I need to display in the cell just part of the content.
E.g. A1 has ABCD content inside; I need this cell display AB only.
Formula LEFT does not work for me. I guess a need a marco or something,
can somebody help?

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi Nickolas

You can use Text to Columns to keep just the 2 first characters, using the option Fixed Width.
