I'm using Excel 2007. I want to display in one (A2) cell how much over the number "8" is from another cell (A1). And I also want the cell (A2) to display a "0" (zero) if the original cell (A1) is "8" or less.

For example: If cell A1 has "10.5" in it, then cell A2 would display "2.5". Or if cell A1 has "7.0" in it, A2 would display "0". If cell A1 has "8" in it, it would also display "0".

How would the formula be written for this? I hope I explained my question good enough. Thanks for any help.
