Displaying Formatted Currency Value as Text

I am trying to use formatted value withing this formula.
=A39&" "&MAX(B6:B35)
Max function brings the value with 12 decimals, where and how shoud I put currency format somthing like, "$#,##0.00". (if this is correct)?.
=A39 has the following formula.

=IF(A3>0,"Deduct from","Add to")

=A39&" "&DOLLAR(MAX(B6:B35),2)

Can we change MAX to MIN on the basis of the result of A39, ie, if it says deduct from I want to use MAX function and if the result of A39 is Add to I want to use MIN function.

=A39&" "&DOLLAR(IF(A3>0,MAX(B6:B35),MIN(B6:B35)),2)
