Hi,
So I had the formula

<tbody>
</tbody>
=IF('12'!$D$34="","",(LOOKUP(2,1/ISTEXT('12'!$D$34:$D$76),('12'!$D$34:$D$76))))

before and it was working perfectly.

Trouble is that I've changed the values that I used to put in the cells D34:D76. The values there now refer to another cell which is dependent on another cell.

For example;

D34 now contains
=IF(J4="","",J4)

J4 contains
=IF(H4=0,"Day 0",IF(H4=1,"Day 1",IF(H4=2,"Day 2",IF(H4=3,"Day 3",IF(H4=4,"Day 4",IF(H4=5,"Day 5",IF(H4=6,"Day 6","")))))))

H4 contains
=IF(A34="","",(A34-$B$24))

Where A34 & B24 contain dates.

Basically, when the difference between the 2 days equals a certain number (eg 1) the text Day 1 now appears in D34-the cell Im trying to reference to.

Can anyone help a brother out :)

Paul

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
