Hi, Mr Excel.com Team. Is there a way to show/insert the name of a worksheet in a cell. Also, when the worksheet name changes it automatically updates the cell.
So, if the worksheet is: Budget Year2022. I would like this to be in a cell, say, A1. And more than one cell if needed. Thank you

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Put this in cell A1 to get it to display the sheet name.

=MID(@CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",@CELL("filename",A1))+1,255)

Thank you both. I managed to get them working. Both dream solutions. All the best.

Just to say that the formulas will only work on a saved workbook

Mark858, interesting! That explains why i couldn't get them to work the first time round, but when i used them in a saved workbook they worked. Appreciate your worthy comment.
