Can anyone tell me how to eliminate the DIV/0 from this equation


=1/Q54*Q56

if on xl2007 or higher:

=IFERROR(1/Q54*Q56,"")

i think yours will return the wrong result for Q56=0 (should be 0)

you could try this
=IF(OR(Q54=0,Q56=0),"",1/Q54*Q56)

it not correct to reject Q56=0 as the value should be 0 in that case

yep I was assuming that a blank cell required soooooo this would return 0
=IF(OR(D4=0),"",1/D4*D6)
