#div/0!

Hello,

I have tried searching through the threads but have not found this. I am getting the "DIV/0!" message for a worksheet that I am using. I have a table of formulas that point to other cells in other tabs.

For Example.

=Trey!A2

It works great but when I have no data in that cell, I get this error. I tried this...

=IF(C2=0,"",Trey!2) and it works, but when I apply it to the other cells in the table, they revert back to the "DIV/0!"

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Do you want a default value instead of the error or just an empty cell?

Possibly look at the IFERROR function if so.

Try:

Code:
=IFERROR(Trey!A2,"")
if I understand the problem correctly...;)

When I try that, I get the #NAME? error
The IFERROR function requires that you have Excel 2007 or later.

Try this...

=IF(ISERROR(Trey!A2),"",Trey!A2)

I'm not sure this will solve your problem, though.

Try it and let's see.
