As I understand it a merged cell has a capacity of 32767 characters.

If I merge 2 cells does the merged cell now have 32767 x 2 = 65534 character capacity? Would 3 have x 3?

Also, what's the limit that a textbox on a userform can display?

Thanks all!

Not sure about the Textbox limit, however a merged cell still has the same character capacity.

Here is the code I used to test.

Code:
Sub CountChar()
For i = 1 To 32768
ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value = ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value & "a"
Next
End Sub

I merged cell A1 & A2 and ran the code. It bugged out on i = 32768
