I made a macro with the macro recorder.
It starts in B2 and looks in A2, if A2 says LARRY then in cell B2 it puts Lar
if A2 does not say LARRY (it could say TOM, **** Harry etc.) then in cell B2 it puts NONE
My question what command do I use when it reaches a cell in column A that is blank.
I hope that I am making myself understood.
The macro is copied below.

Range("B2").Select
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=IF(RC[-1]=""LARRY"",""Lar"",""NONE"")"
Selection.AutoFill Destination:=Range("B2:B24"), Type:=xlFillDefault
Range("B2:B24").Select
Range("A2").Select

Thanks in advance for any help.

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Try

Code:
Dim LR As Long
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
Range("B2:B" & LR).FormulaR1C1 = "=IF(RC[-1]=""LARRY"",""Lar"",""NONE"")"
