Download data problem

Dear all,

I'm trying to download data from internet to excel.
Data looks 2.00 3.25 3.50 - when I download it to excel spreadsheet becomes to January.95 March.25 March.40.

When I format the cell to Number becomes to 34700 45717 14671.

I want to keep the initial layout, same on web page.
Any ideas how to solve it?

Finally I made it. 1st format my cells to text and then copy>paste special > text.
