Drop Down List

I'd like to create a drop down list with an 'X' number of variables; each variable would have a bunch of stats associated with them. When a user would choose a variable, then the corresponding cells (assigned by me) would display all the relevant info. How would I create the drop down list?

In my worksheet, I guess they're called ComboBoxes.

Could you explain why I would want to do it in a VBA form?

Thats only if your using a vba form.

Heres what I would do.

Have an example table like this:

Where the name is displayed you would use data validation to convert it to a drop down list. You will need a source list such as the following for your drop down:
