Hi all

Can I ask how I change back a column to only allow one selection on a drop down? I have a list of 1-5 but it’s adding a selection in, I need it to replace not add.

Currently it will do 1,2,3 and keep adding but I need 1 to be replaced by 2 for example.

Thanks

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
You must have added a VBA script on the sheet to enable this feature. It's not by default in Excel. DELETE that Script

But before you delete that script - MUST know
  1. Once you delete that script, you have to re-validate column for data validation.
  2. And worst, might need to go through all previous data cells o re-enter data - Can be tedious job.
Another option, share you code here, might be that some experts gives you a better solution by modifying that code (script). But for that only they (the VBA experts) can tell.
