Hi, (from an Excel novice)

I'd like to have a drop down list in (eg) cell A1, and another in B1 - but what I' trying to acieve is that the contents of the drop down list in B1 are dependent on the selection from the list in A1. I probably havent explained that too well but.......

Drop down list in A1;

Apples
Pears
Grapefruit

select: Apples

Therefore Dropdown list in B1 =

cox's
french delicious
granny smiths

However, if I'd have selected 'grapefruit' from the original list, I'd like the list options in B1 to now be;

Fyffes
big 'n yellow
little 'n black

(couldnt think of any other types/ brands of banana!!)

any ideas please?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I should have previewed my entry before posting it - I'm getting me fruits mixed up!! - but hopefully you get the idea
