Duplicate Values

I have pulled in 2 tables from a SQL Server database and I am attempting to link 2 fields under the "Diagram View."

However I receive the following error message:

"The relationship cannot be created because each column contains duplicate values. Select at least one column..."

How do I overcome this? I am aware that the fields have duplicates but that's just the nature of these tables.

Thanks!

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
The question is which of the duplicates is the one you wish to map to??

doing Select Distinct query against both tables ( or create views to do that) then use the queries or the views but which entries you get from the distinct will be a moot point?
(probably the first entry)
