Hello,

I have a file that has rows of data that are only defined by H or V in each cell, I need to see if there are any duplicates within a selected number of cells to another selected number of cells throughout the spreadsheet. So I need to see if cells B2:B14 if the data is H, H, V, V, V, H, H, V, H, V, V, H, H; if that same data is in that identical same order anywhere else on the sheet. What is the quickest way to go about this or is it even possible?
Thanks,

Cathy

Do you usually use commas between the different arguments(parts) of a function, or do you use semi-colons?

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Am I able to send you the file so you can see exactly what we're dealing with?

You can upload it to a share site such as OneDrive, mark for sharing & post the link here.

I don't know! I don't usually use Excel in such a complicated fashion.

Are you actually doing this in Excel or Sheets?

Oh both, I switch between the two. If it's easier I will just stick with one. Is the formula not working because it's Sheets? I thought they were the same.

Oh ok sorry, are you able to help with Sheets or should I be making sure I'm in Excel when I do this?
