How do i extract duplicate data rows. For instance, rows 5 and 16 have the same date/amount/name. My ultimate purpose is to delete any duplicate rows from my spreadsheet (excluding the original data). Any help is appreciated.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
there are several ways but I find this one easy

Create a formula that concatenates the data you need to compare
say for example that column a, b, c are what you are looking at create formula

So say column E is empty put this formula and copy it down
=A1&B1&C1
Then do a formula in column F
=COUNTIF($E$2:E2,E2)
copy that formula down
now whereever you have a count greater than 1 is duplicates.
